Archie holds the record for the longest winning streak in the history of <\/span>gambling<\/span> games. <\/span><\/p>

Archie comes from a poor Greek family and learns from a young age how to earn money doing odd jobs to put food in his stomach. This, in effect, was the beginning of his years as a gambler<\/span>g<\/span>iya. After a serious scandal with his father, he leaves his homeland and goes to the United States to work as a waiter on a ship. At some point in his life, he ended up in Los Angeles, where he began to earn side money playing pool. A game where he becomes so good that no one can beat him. Later, he also started playing poker, which he quickly learned. A game that makes and loses a lot of money. However, his record is set not only with poker, but with many other games. <\/span><\/p>

With only 50 dollars in his pocket, Karas goes to Las Vegas at the Mirage casino, where he meets an acquaintance who lends him 10 thousand, with which the Greek can afford to sit at a table with a small <\/span>blind<\/span> 200 dollars and a large one - 400. Very quickly Karas earns 30 thousand and returns the money to the person from whom he took it, as well as another 10 thousand as a bonus for the loan.<\/span><\/p>

With only 10k left, Karas can't settle and goes to a bar where he meets another poker player, but the two bet 5000 on a game of 9 ball pool. Something our hero is very good at. Eventually, one game turns into dozens, and after each defeat, Mr. "Hicks," as Karas calls his opponent, raises the stakes, which can reach as much as $40,000 per game. In short<\/span>k<\/span>At the time, the Greek gambler won 1.2 million. <\/span><\/p>

Subsequently, the two switch back to poker, where Karas clearly thrives and quickly develops his winning streak and increases his fortunes.<\/span>is<\/span>it's 3 million dollars<\/span>r<\/span>a.
