Without a doubt, Manny Pacquiao is among the biggest names in boxing. The height is not particularly impressive 166cm. the Filipino set a number of records within his professional career. Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in boxing history with a total of 12 world titles. Among the series of records that he made on the fly was winning world titles in four of the eight "glamorous divisions": flyweight, lightweight, featherweight and light welterweight. His remarkable statistics as a boxer include 62 victories, 39 of them by knockout.

Undoubtedly, when Pacquiao announced his retirement in September 2021, the world was saddened. By ending his professional career, the Filipino ended an era. The impressive successes of Manny Pacquiao, in addition to being an inspiration to many, were also the debunking of the myth that boxing in lighter categories is not so spectacular and attractive.

With his career winding down, however, Pacquiao once again managed to surprise the world by announcing that he was turning his attention to politics. Moreover, he was nominated as the candidate for President of the Philippines by the Democratic Party of the Philippines. Thus, one of the most influential boxers of all time will fight to conquer a new peak.

His well-rounded personality also pushed him to invest in sports. To the surprise of many, however, Pacquiao did not rush to build boxing gyms, but turned his attention to something far more innovative - e-sports. A few months after his presidential ambitions became clear, the Filipino created his own team - Team Pacquiao GG - TPGG. The goal in front of him is extremely clear - like anything he takes up, Pacquiao will be looking for total dominance here. In an interview, the current senator announced that he hopes his team will become a leader in Southeast Asia.

Whether Pacquiao's ventures outside the boxing ring will be as successful as they have been in it remains to be seen. One thing is clear - Manny Pacquiao is not a man who will settle for anything other than victory.
