Space Jam 2: A New Legacy - Does LeBron Do It As An Actor?
Although he denies it regularly and doesn't tolerate such comparisons, all LeBron James has done during his illustrious basketball career is try to outdo Michael Jordan. The basketball star has "let loose" with the media on several occasions, most memorably when he stated that he was "chasing the spirit of Chicago," indirectly stating that his goal was to surpass the greatest basketball player in history.
Whether he's accomplished it or not, the fact is that even his actions off the floor show he wants to pass Jordan. Even in Hollywood, after personally taking on the mission to realize the long-awaited return of "Space Dunks" - the basketball movie of Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Over the years, there have been many rumors about the creation of a second part, with Kobe Bryant being the favorite to appear in the film, but LeBron James created his own film studio, created a script and realized the film in 2020 - Space Dives 2 with the main participation of the King.
The film also has an interesting title – Space Shooter 2: A New Legacy (we guess the name is not a coincidence at all). But that's enough with the comparisons between the two stars, because the two films have serious differences.
LeBron James plays himself, finding himself in a virtual computer world after his son is "lured" by an evil artificial intelligence. While the kid is being seriously manipulated by the master of the virtual universe, LeBron meets Bugs Bunny, who in turn has lost touch with his Freaky Drawings friends. The two join forces with their own goals - for LeBron to get his son back and for Bugs to save Freaky Drawings from oblivion. Of course, in order to realize their wish, everything must be decided on the basketball court, but with new rules subject to the virtual universe.
You can assume that the movie is for kids after all and the happy ending is part of the plot of the movie. However, how to get there will probably be of interest to everyone. The movie itself is nothing special, but it is a nice way to spend time with your family. Of course, fans of the original "Space Jam" starring Michael Jordan don't approve of the version with LeBron James, but the true rating of this movie will be known in 10-15 years, when millions of children will have seen both movies and their rating probably will be the most objective.
